Small Town Carnival Wedding || Kansas Wedding Photographer || Samantha & Travis

carnival wedding on theshalomimaginative.com

this is documentation of the day that friends & family from around the country & from the other side of the world gathered in the town square of Ellsworth, KS.
the town Samantha & Travis grew up in.  the town where they met up again years later & started their relationship.
& the town where Samantha would arrive to marry Travis on the bike he fixed up for her.

on September 21, Ellsworth was bustling with so much celebration.
everyone cheered as the wedding party & family walked down the  aisle.  & then Travis danced down the aisle.
floating red balloons, colorful flags dancing in the breeze, wedding cake on a stick.
best friends singing their toast,  the town organizations passing out hot dogs, funnel cakes, & popcorn,
Samantha & Travis twirling around the dance floor to the most incredible live Motown tunes.

as all of the guests kept saying, this was the celebration of the century.

  13. Sam, I don’t know if I told you this, but seeing these wonderful photos reminded me of a movie, Big Fish, with Albert Finney, in which he plays a storyteller who conjures up magical places and things and people. Your wedding looked like one of his fantastic stories. And judging from the comments, it was as fun as it looked. I wish you ALL the best, girl. You deserve it.
