Home is making chocolate chip cookies together in the kitchen. It’s eating sugar straight out of the bag.
It is tangled hair, bare feet, & sitting on the kitchen counter.
Home is inviting, warm, completely authentic. It is giggles. It is together.
Home, the place to tickle each other until it hurts, speak in british accents, & snuggle together on the couch.
This is the Pelton family. This is home.

  2. You guys. I mean. Seriously. My eloquence has left me as I sit here in awe of this images. Of this gift you’ve given my family and me. This is exactly what our life looks like – no pretense. No planning. No posed perfection. This is us and that – the very essence of authenticity and truth and weird faces – is so beautifully overwhelming. I can’t imagine what I could have ever done to earn friends like the two of you but I will spend a lifetime in your debt.

Thank you. Beyond all syllables and audible utterances. Immeasurably. Always.
