The LINE wedding LA, a modern and nontraditional rooftop celebration. This is the story of Mandy and Pedraum and their Mediterranean inspired wedding in LA. They planned a beautiful day that was infused with heart. Mandy describes the day and their vibe perfectly: “Luckily we didn’t feel much pressure to do tradition for the sake of tradition, and just wanted it to be honest and real and ‘us’. It was also really important for us that it was a set up that encouraged people to get to know each other, so it felt more like a fun party than a wedding.”
Their wedding was glam, modern, chic, Mediterranean, and colorful. They got ready in the bright, modern rooms at the LINE that looked out over the city. Busy, colorful Los Angeles buzzed on the streets below them. Mandy and the ladies had burgers and fries as they prepared for the day. Lots of laughter and vibrant, beautiful pops of red and magenta started to fill the space. Pedraum had an epic surprise as one of his best friends (who Pedraum was under the impression was unable to attend), unexpectedly showed up at his hotel door, ready to celebrate the day next to him.
They spoke their vows in a modern, green, overgrown space. The backdrop was a neighboring church, a perfect way to add a little taste of tradition in a very non-traditional way. Loved ones took turns standing up and stating why they support this beautiful union. After they wed, they joined the energy of the city at sunset, walking along the sidewalk side by side. Their reception was rooftop poolside party, filled with neon lights, a flipbook photo booth, and late night ice cream sandwiches. Instead of a formal dinner, everyone enjoyed gourmet Persian fare as they milled around the pool and enjoyed colorful mocktails in the Openaire greenouse. Candles flickered throughout the greenhouse, and string lights hung overhead as they danced the night away.
