This is Diana and Drew and the story of their wedding in the heart of Joshua Tree. They share a mutual love for nature and rock climbing and spent the whole week leading up to their day camping together in the National Park. The eve of their wedding they hosted a star party to welcome their loved ones to the desert. A taco truck, S’mores over the campfire, and hot cocoa to keep their hands warm as the sun set behind the Joshua Tree landscape. The new moon allowed for the giant blanket of stars to fill the sky overhead.
They prepared for their wedding day together in a bright, modern desert home while surrounded by loved ones. They wed outdoors with Joshua Tree’s beautiful rocky cliffs as the backdrop. The desert was the inspiration for their day and they kept everything simple and let the natural surroundings be the focus and set the pace of the day. They added in succulents for their table settings, bouquet, and cake topper. Striped linen napkins and water colored place settings spread across the family style seating. They explored the desert together as the sun set and then rejoined with all of their favorite people for cheers, dancing, and a bonfire.
