A Catahoula Wedding in the heart of the city. This is a story of an epic, colorful New Orleans wedding at Catahoula Hotel. Kicking the celebration off with a crawfish boil, their best friends by their side. The bustle of the city swirling through the streets, pops of color on every corner. Flowers and vines swaying in the humid air as they hung from the iconic balconies above.
She wore a fancy white pantsuit and bright, magenta heels. He pulled on matching magenta socks and tied up his bright mint laces before heading out into the city. Boarding the street car to meet his bride. They wed in a bright, open courtyard with brick and greens all around.
Their best friends filled the mint chairs to witness their vows. Twinkle lights swaying overhead. Across the black & white checkered floors, she made her way down the aisle.
Together on a bohemian rug, sharing their promises with one another.
Then, parading through those eccentric New Orleans streets,
dancing their hearts out under their lacy parasols to celebrate this big, beautiful love. Jazz echoing through the air. Onlookers joining in and cheering them on. They ended their day rocking out at concerts of their favorite musicians.
Unique, fun, bold, intimate, and eccentric. This is the story of Amanda + Jon & their colorful New Orleans wedding at the Catahoula Hotel.
