The Fig House Wedding – This is the story of Jasmin and Tim’s celebration in the heart of Los Angeles. They started their day with a hike in the wildflower covered hills of Los Angeles, holding each other close, as they look out over the city. A beautiful way to begin the day they wed: slow, peaceful, and together.
The design of their day was inspired by spring and minimalism. Jasmin and Tim are incredibly talented and planned their day themselves and also designed the programs and stationary. They had soft and beautifully unusual florals spilling out throughout the space (the floral design was so dreamy!). The Fig House space lended to their modern, minimalism style with bright open spaces and modern, bright furniture and decor. Their style was classic and modern black-tie formal. The bridesmaids dressed in elegant complimenting hues of silk. Pops of color filled the space from their yellow guest book to the iconic velvet furniture. The Fig room’s tile throughout the ceremony space, greenery surrounding, and twinkle lights strung overhead set the perfect tone for their vows. Their minimal white cake and florals looked stunning in front of the deep blue reception walls. The reception space, moody and filled with art, their tabletop design bursting with colorful fruit and florals, all giving the perfect setting to end the day in a dance party.
Tears and laughter made their way into the intimate moments of the day. It was such an honor to document the beautiful moments that made up their celebration. Captured on both digital and 35mm film, here is a glimpse into their day.
