A Colorful King Gillette Ranch Wedding. There is nothing more beautiful than an outdoor Southern California wedding celebration, and this one takes the cake. Tucked away in the Santa Monica Mountains, King Gillette Ranch is so stunning with acres sprawling grass and big ol’ trees to provide shade. The courtyard and 1920’s architecture with Spanish details makes for a very charming and inspiring space to celebrate.
Eric and Lula filled the space with trendy, bright and colorful details. They had a custom built lavender archway covered in oversized bright paper floral details as the ceremony backdrop. A stone deer stood at the entrance dining a sign that read “I doe” They covered the reception table tops with multi colored pastel bubble sculptural glass vases and candlesticks, bright cheery floral design in lavender, orange, and pink, and colorful candles.
Their celebration was filled with so much joy and laughter. Eric and Lula’s vibe was chill and fun, which spilled out into the energy and pace of the day. They let their schedule unfold naturally to maximize meaningful moments together with their favorite people. Lula and Eric and their whole wedding party slayed all day with their immaculate style. Lula had an outfit change for the reception (both dresses were perfect and a complete inspiration.) They ended the night with a big ol’ dance party, complete with a glowing pink neon sign and, of course, a gorgeous flower covered cake.
This celebration was captured on both film and digital. We absolutely love when couples add on film to their package and think the mixture of both mediums think it’s such a lovely way to document wedding celebrations.
