Lovers of outdoors, adventure, & camping, these two are already exploring together on the other side of the planet.
This is the story of Lauren & Seth, the day of their Kansas City artist loft wedding.
Their day was filled with so much life, joy, & beauty.
She put on her lace dress & red lipstick as the golden rays flooded through the windows.
He prepared for the day in a room stacked to the brim with colorful, old books.
They wed in a bright, open industrial artist loft in the heart of Kansas City.
Her father read the vows & pronounced them husband & wife.
Art adorning the hallways, towering lofted ceilings above, & huge windows along every wall showing off the beautiful skyline as the sun set.
// This post is in memory of the beautiful life of Quincy Foster. We are always so honored to tell such meaningful stories in families’ lives. We are incredibly humbled to make pictures & tell stories that will outlive us & the beautiful people that we capture. Capturing some of the last images of Quincy reminds us greatly of this fact & that our work is much bigger than us. She is one of the most joyful individuals we have ever been around. Our hope is that these images can help carry & tell her story for generations. All of our love to those that are missing her greatly & whose lives will never be the same because of her incredible impact.
“My sweet, sweet baby Quincy Lynn, oh how I adore you. You were so determined and passionate from the day you were born. You have always held this special place in my heart. This loss is unbearable. Yet, I am overwhelmed with gratitude that it was you standing by my side on my wedding day. That it was you I spent those precious, intimate moments with in the bridal room. That is was you that helped me get into my wedding dress. Oh my dear baby cousin, you lived big and you were fearless. Oh, and man were you smart. You knew how to pour your soul onto a page. You had this strength about you that was reckless but vulnerable, and I loved that about you. As we grew up together, you became a best friend. One of my favorite memories of you is when we went to get coffee. You went on and on about how you wanted more from this life, how you wanted to serve with your whole heart, and how you never wanted to become complacent. I wanted your determination. It was contagious. We sat there dreaming together about all that could be. You challenged me and kept me on my toes. I left that coffee date a very proud cousin. I am so proud of you Quincy Lynn. Hearing you speak about your love for God always gave me hope and encouragement that there is more to this life.” – Words from Lauren to her one of her best friends, cousin, & bridesmaid.
