This is the story of Christine + Tyler and their DTLA wedding at the Millwick. Right in the heart of the city, bustle in the streets below their hotel as they get ready. Tears, PBR, and some good ol’ McDonald’s breakfast as they prepare for their day. Tropical and summer vibes throughout the venue. Gold, palm branches, and fun couches fill the space. They fell in love with the idea of getting married at the Millwick because of the juxtaposition between urban city life and nature + greenery. They spoke their vows surrounded by what felt like a tropical jungle. After becoming husband and wife, they ran around the colorful streets together and, of course, had to stop at the New Girl loft building. They wanted their day to feel like an urban garden party or a never-ending cocktail party and cared the most about their favorite people having a full belly of good food as fuel to dance the night away. They capped off the night with doughnuts, cake, and dancing while memories flashed across the wall through a cinema projector.
