What were some inspirations for your wedding?
Our venue Casa Cody gave us a lot of inspiration for the color palette and overall feel. We loved how romantic and naturally beautiful the grounds were and we wanted to echo those in our wedding day.
What are some adjectives that describe your wedding decorations and style?
Personal, sweet, not too serious, natural, effortless and beautiful.
What did you love about your having your wedding at Casa Cody?
Obsessed with our venue Casa Cody. We loved that the entire place was ours for the weekend. It was so special and intimate to have all the rooms filled with friends and family.
Anything nontraditional you incorporated into the day that made the celebration more unique to you?
We decided to do our vows privately. The nature of the venue, with everyone staying with us made it harder to have one on one moments together. Doing our vows privately felt like a special moment just for us.
Best decision during wedding planning?
Hiring a wedding planner!
Something you would do differently if you had to do it over?
I would add one more day so we could decompress and swap stories with our guests the day after the wedding.
Most memorable part of the day?
Definitely the ceremony it was so overwhelming to see everyone together at our beautiful venue surrounded by these wild and overgrown florals.
