A flower filled Shelter Social Club Wedding. Shelby and David, two creatives souls, married in Ojai. Their celebration was a whimsical summer dream filled with bright and dreamy flowers, ethereal music, and a beautiful vegan feast. Honoring his Swedish roots, the day felt like a Midsummer inspired dream.
A shelter Social Club Wedding is one of those places where you can spend the whole weekend and have an extended celebration with your best people. It’s a place that is filled with sunshine, swimming, and feels worlds away from any worries. We always love venues where everything can happen at one place and guests can sleep onsite for a whole fun filled weekend of celebrating.
These two are both musicians, and when two artists throw a party, you can always tell the extra attention to detail. Of course the music selections throughout the day were a total inspiration. They also incorporated a PlantWave to include the electric sounds of the earth into their ceremony music. The whole venue was scattered with summer flowers. They got married under a big tree and it was dripping with dried flowers that they hung from the branches. They had flowers in the cactus, flowers in the pool, and flowers as their seating chart. They ended the night with a colorful farm style vegan feast and dancing.
Jessica (of Art and Soul Events behind the design and planning), Tabitha (of Winston & Main on floral design), and the whole team totally knocked this celebration out of the park. This wedding has us dreaming of more warm summer weddings.
