A Northern California Wedding on film and Digital mix. Bryan and Laura had a farm-to-table celebration tucked away on the Pacific Coast in Pescadero. As they planned their day, they pulled inspiration from their favorite dinner parties, favorite people, and favorite wines. They wanted their celebration to feel simple, authentic, and personal.

They hosted their celebration at Harley Farms, just south of San Francisco right off the Pacific Coast. Their day was filled with bright summer colors and florals. The bridesmaids wore a mix of different blues and floral patterns. The entire venue is filled with life, from the vibrant greenery, dairy goats on site, and to the fresh floral crops. This is one of our favorite venues to photograph weddings at in California.

A few words from the couple about their Northern California wedding on film:

What did you love about your day/location/venue?
We loved the farm-to-table nature of it all (Venue Owner and close family friend, Dee, grew the flowers, the cheese was from the farm, the site is beautiful.) I (Laura) are up just down the coast. A childhood friend and farmworker, David Hope, was an incredible bar tender and impromptu DJ. Dee put so much thought and care into the day.

Anything nontraditional you incorporated into the day that made the celebration more unique to you?
I wore the dress my grandmother and mother wore for their weddings (with some alterations). We didn’t have a seated dinner, which allowed us to spend more time with all of our friends and family.

Best decision during wedding planning?
Doing it together.

Something you would do differently if you had to do it over?
I wish we had cleared the day after our wedding so we had time to relax and let everything soak in… instead we hoped on a plane to Paris.

Most memorable part of the day?
The ceremony.

Lead photographer was Nate, capturing the day on both film and digital.
