Noon Lodge Wedding in Big Bear

This is Danielle and Tommy and the story of their Noon Lodge Wedding in the mountains of Big Bear. As an outdoor loving couple, it was the perfect place for them to celebrate their love with all of their favorite people. They wanted their day to be authentically them, outdoors, and low key. They cared the most about bringing their friends and family together to enjoy good conversation, great food, and, of course, lots of dancing.

They got married on a beautiful summer day. While they got ready in the modern cabins around the property, guests were doing cannon balls and playing corn hole poolside. Unique and personal details were woven throughout the sacred moments of the ceremony. They made their promises under a Chuppah designed and built by Tommy and his dad, covered in florals designed by Danielle’s stepmom, and the Talit draped across was Danielle’s dads. They wrote and, between tears, shared personal vows with each other, which of course brought tears everyone else. The fresh mountain air surrounded their bodies and the sun danced across the water behind them as they became husband and wife.

They brought some LA food favorites out to Big bear to help celebrate: Guests enjoyed Guerrilla Tacos, chips, and guacamole lakeside. And they had pie instead of cake from The Pie Hole. And at sunset, they hopped in a canoe together and paddled along the the lake as the sky lit up with bright, pastel hues the stretched beyond the pine-filled horizon. They ended the night with a bonfire, and just what they hoped, lots of dancing.
